It's the premier river of Northeast Ohio, just 45 minutes from Cleveland, Akron, and Youngstown in Portage County. What a great day trip where you can get away from the job, the phone, and the stresses of life, and enjoy the nature and beauty surrounding the Cuyahoga River.

Everything You Need for Your Paddle

We have everything you need for your canoe, kayak, or paddle board trip - the finest selection of premium boats, paddles, and safety equipment in the area. And our trained staff is ready to help you with your boats and get you safely onto the river. Our vehicles provide transport to your put-in and/or bring you back when you've completed your paddle. Book your boats online and they will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive!

At our store, you'll find a variety of merchandise, t-shirts, and more. And our facility is handicapped accessible.

Make a Day of Your Paddle

Have a Picnic

We have picnic shelters that you can use on a first-come basis. Plus, you can enjoy our volleyball net and playfield for a game after your paddle.

Camp Overnight

For those who want to stay overnight, we have five tent sites (three tents each), plus two group sites with pavilions. There are 3 sets of outhouses.

Tent sites start at $20 per night for two people. You will need to bring your tent, food, and water. There is no power or water. Drinking water can be purchased at our store.

In addition, there are 4 cabins to rent with power but no water. Call our office to check on availability for tent sites, group sites, and cabins.

Host a Specialty Group Event

You can host a special group of 10 to 75 people. Choose your time to paddle and serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner at one of our pavilions. Bring your food or we can cater sandwiches from a local sub shop. Click here to find out more about holding a group event!
